BRAND OF THE YEAR 2021 – ULTRA VIOLETTE

[ad_1]

My brand of the year for 2021 is *drum roll please*

ULTRA VIOLETTE

I mean it’s not really much of a surprise, but it IS well-deserved. Australia have the toughest regulations when it comes to SPF, so you know if an Aussie brand creates SPF, it’s usually going to be good. Ultra Violette’s packaging literally says ‘Formulated and created in the toughest place to get sunscreen approved: Australia’ – so you know you can trust it.

To quote Brian Clough (google him millennials), I wouldn’t say Ultra Violette are the best SPF brand in the business, but they’re in the top 1.

From the bright packaging to the education on pack, they have something for everyone. Bonus points as they smell incredible, too (Clean Screen is fragrance free).

You need this if…

Everyone can use these SPFs. You are looking for a wardrobe of SPF suitable for all skins, tones and conditions. There’s something for everyone.

You don’t need this if…

Ignore this, you need this.

Here’s a full breakdown:

Supreme Screen Hydrating Facial Skinscreen SPF 50+

This is probably my favourite face SPF in the range. It is hydrating, without being sticky and gives your skin a gorgeous glow.

Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Skinscreen SPF 50+

This is more suited to oily or combination skin types, as it has a matte finish (but don’t worry, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky like some other mattifying SPFs).
This is mineral based and should be tested on a darker skin tone.

Queen Screen Lightweight Skinscreen 50+

This is similar to Supreme Screen, as it is weightless and leaves a lovely glow, but it is more of a serum texture – so good for if you would like a lightweight SPF.

Clean Screen Sensitive Skinscreen SPF 30

You will be glad to know ‘clean’ refers to the fact this is fragrance free, and not part of the ‘clean’ movement. This is perfect for if you have sensitive skin, or don’t like fragrance in your products.
This is mineral based and should be tested on a darker skin tone.

Sheen Screen Hydrating Lip Balm SPF 50

We all remember to use SPF on our faces (I hope you do, anyway) but it is still important to protect your lips. This featured in my empties and is one of my favourite lip balms. It comes in 4 shades, and leaves a glossy finish. I use shade ‘shimmer’.

Extreme Screen Hydrating Body & Hand Skinscreen SPF 50+

This is a great body SPF. It is lightweight, hydrating and not sticky – winner, winner chicken dinner! I cannot wait for the sun to come out so I can use this again (I always use SPF if my body is exposed, but in this weather, I am covered up).

Shop Ultra Violette.
